To redeem wrapped XMR after closing an EVM lending position, repay the loan, withdraw your zXMR, then bridge it back to a Monero wallet. Wrapped XMR is a token that represents Monero on an Ethereum-compatible network; zXMR is ZeroFi’s ERC-20 token, which follows Ethereum’s common token rules.
First confirm that your wallet holds zXMR on a network the bridge currently supports. A lending position is your deposit and loan within a lending app; closing it may return collateral as zXMR, another token, or less than you deposited if fees or liquidation applied.
For example, if you deposited 5 zXMR and borrowed USDC, repay the USDC debt before withdrawing the remaining zXMR. If you supplied zXMR but the app returns USDC, you must swap that USDC for zXMR before redemption. Check the balance and token name in your wallet; a similar-looking token may not be the same asset.
ZeroFi bridges zXMR back to native XMR, which you receive in a Monero wallet. The bridge interface currently lists Sepolia, Ethereum’s test network, as its EVM destination, so check the live network selection before moving funds. If your zXMR is on another network, or your lending position is on a live lending market, do not assume it can be redeemed through the current interface.
Before you start, have these ready:
The current interface lists a 0.01 XMR minimum and 10 confirmations for both deposits and payouts. Confirmations are blocks added after a transaction; the bridge also lists 10 sweep confirmations. Fees and timing can change, so use the quote and status shown for your transaction before proceeding. For more on how ZeroFi handles the XMR-to-token route, check the bridge details.
Use the withdrawal flow and check every network and address before signing. A withdrawal burns the wrapped tokens, then the bridge arranges the corresponding XMR payout; a burn alone does not mean XMR has arrived.
